Thanksgiving Menu- 2016
When it comes to holiday meals, some items are absolutely sacred,
and any changes are sacrilegious (i.e. the Thanksgiving turkey), while others have a bit more flexibility, like side dishes.
Since I follow a ketogenic diet, I often modify recipes to suit my dietary needs while also making more traditional fare for other members of my family. Items with ketogenic modifications will be noted with an asterisk (*). Items with a + will have a traditional version AND a ketogenic version.
Below is our traditional Thanksgiving menu (recipes to follow in the days to come):
- Deviled Eggs*
- Crudites*
- Roasted Chestnuts
- Roast Turkey
- Stuffing +
- Scalloped Corn
- Roasted Brussell Sprouts with bacon *
- Green Bean Casserole +
- Mashed Potatoes and gravy +

- Rolls
- Oopsie Rolls *
